Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Nelson Gerald Renkema, at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Rowsome), and dear father of Kevin (Christina) Renkema and Neil (Valerie) Renkema. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Erin, Dylan, Tyler and Erica. Brother of Gerald (Joyce) Renkema and Jack Renkema. Brother-in-law of Marie Moorhouse (Stan predeceased) also survived by several nieces and nephews. Nelson was predeceased by his parents Egbert and Geesje Renkema, as well as brothers Bill, Hank and Fenno Renkema and by one sister Theresa Tibben.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. At Nelson's request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
