Suddenly on Sunday, March 11, 2012, with her four daughters at her bedside; the former Norma Jean Richardson at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of George Whitlock and loving mother of Eleanor Whitlock (Bruce Hynes) of Brockville, Angela Knights (Gord) of Cardinal, Anne Whitlock (Bob Ross) of Moncton NB, and Alison Whitlock (Pat Hopkins) of Osgoode. Cherished by her grandchildren Carl, Susan, Audrey, Chris and Sarah and by great-granddaughter Lillianna. Survived by her brother Paul Richardson (Bev) of Kanata. Predeceased by a daughter Lucy in infancy, by brothers Wendell, Bob and Ray Richardson and by sisters Dot London and Mary Kern. Family and friends may call at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, March 15th from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, March 16th from 11am until 12 noon when a celebration of Norma's life will be held in the Chapel, followed by a reception. Cremation will take place at Roselawn. In remembrance, donations to the O.S.P.C.A., the CHEO Foundation or the Mary Jane Hawkins Foundation at St. Lawrence Lodge will be gratefully acknowledged. Many small steps make a life.
