Blinn, Norman

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Sunday, November 4 2012. Joseph Norman Blinn, at the age of 84 years. Norman is survived by his loving wife Alice; his five daughters Carol Young (Richard), Ellen Brayton (Kevin Boudens), Elaine Bird, Cathy Empey (Kevin), Jeanne Atkins (Dennis) and by his son Paul Blinn (Jane). Also survived by 13 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Arthur Bird and by seven brothers and sisters.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville from Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be celebrated in St. Francis Xavier Church on Thursday at 10 am with cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
