Died peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Sherwood Park Manor with her family by her side. Phoebie was born to Bruce and Bessie Ireland. She lived and worked in Kingston most of her life (executive secretary for Government of Canada, Dept. of Defence, Kingston Base). Beloved wife of the late Ernie Wilson and predeceased by parents, sister Alice and brothers Cleon, Clifford and Cecil. Phoebie is survived by her sister Hazel Stark (Jim) of Brockville, sisters-in-law Eunice Ireland of Ottawa, Pearl Warren of Kingston and Marian Goodell of Westport, brother-in-law Wilbert Wilson of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Also dearly missed by close friends Vettie Cox, Dorothy Sands and loyal companion & caregiver Carrie Burns RPN. As per Phoebie's wishes, a private burial will take place at a later date.
