Passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, October 20, 2016. Phyllis Marjorie (Irving) Dixon, at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of Ivan Dixon and cherished mother of Earl (Sandi), Arnold (Brenda), Diane Harvey-Hart, Nelson, Donna Worden (Darrell), Dolores Brown (Kevin), Roger and Darlene Jones (Robert). Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Beatrice and Beulah Irving. Fondly remembered by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Mabel Ouderkirk and Herbert Irving, her grandson Quentin Jones, her great grandson Carter Gurski, sons-in-law Tony Harvey and Bill Hart and by 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A service in honour and celebration of Phyllis' life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the North Augusta United Church followed by interment in Blue Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Quentin Robert Jones Endowment Fund at CHEO, the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or the North Augusta United Church will be gratefully acknowledged.
