Peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at age 78. Beloved husband of Tryntje "Tryn" (nee Dyks). Loving father of Minna Bissonnette (Del), Bill (Mary), Albert, Rick (Shelley) and the late Bobby. Cherished grandfather of Curtis Thompson (Amy), Rob Thompson (Tobi), Derek Steenwyk (Chrissy), Sarah Dickson (Matt) and Shannon Steenwyk. Great-grandfather of Libby, Shea, Charlie, Mckenzie and Liam. Loving brother of Klaas and Cathy and predeceased by brothers Leo and Albert and niece Tammy Kennedy.

Friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Monday, October 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.

Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11am. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Brockville General Hospital, Palliative Care appreciated.
