Retired OPP Detective

Passed away peacefully at his home in Prescott on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the age of 64 years. Dear son of Joan Edna Robins (nee Bruce) and the late Robert Lewis Robins. Beloved husband and best friend for over 43 years to Brenda Robins (nee Gaston) and cherished father of Timothy Lewis Robins and his partner Sarah of Kemptville. Rick is survived by his brother Wayne Robins and by his sisters Marylou Robins and Susan Smith. He was predeceased by his sister Nancy Romanenko.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 11am until 1pm. A ceremony celebrating Rick's life will be held on Saturday at 1 pm in the Chapel followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Salvation Army will be gratefully acknowledged.
