Robert Edward "Ted" Davidson

DAVIDSON, Robert Edward "Ted" WWII Veteran - RCAF - Retired from Ontario Hydro Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the age of 92. Beloved husband to Marney Vera (Bell) Davidson for 64 years. Cherished father of Lynne Pratt (Christopher), Rev. Patsy Henry (Donald), Dawn Ladouceur (Norm), Jennifer Lapierre (Kenneth) and Marney Davidson (Michael McGonegal). Fondly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Marjorie Samson and Bunnie Nicholl and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Bill Davidson and by his sister Helen Scott. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday from 7-9 pm. A service in honour and celebration of Mr. Davidson's life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1 pm followed by a reception. Cremation to follow at the Roselawn Crematorium, Maitland. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Royal Canadian Legion Br. 96 will gather for a Veteran's memorial tribute on Friday at 3 pm.
