Robert Watkins

Bob, the finest, most wonderful and devoted husband, father and grandfather, entered into rest peacefully at Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care on the morning of Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in his 74th year. Cherished and beloved husband of Linda (Sinclair). Dearest and loving father of Cindy Corney and her husband Dave; Steve and Jeff Watkins. Proud and loving grandpa of Taylor, Matt., Trent, Marla, Natasha and Brooke. Also survived by his brother Walter Watkins (Jane), as well as by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Robert (Bob) and Winona Watkins. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. when funeral services in celebration of Bob's life will be held in the Chapel. Pastors Aaron Perry and Laurence Croswell of Centennial Road Church officiating. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery with a gathering afterwards in the Irvine Reception Centre. In remembrance of Bob, memorial donations to the Centennial Road Church, the Red Cross Homemakers or to Brockville District Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
