McKay, Ronald "Ron" James

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Sheila (King) McKay and cherished father of Dean (Michele) McKay and Tina (Paul) Ballantyne. Dear poppy of Kelli, Bryan, Bradley and Nate. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Douglas, Hugh and Mervin and by his parents Violet (Sargent) and William McKay.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A ceremony celebrating Ron's life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 2:30 pm followed by interment at Sandy Hill Cemetery, North Augusta. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
