<p>ROY FORSYTH</p><p>March 20, 1939 - June 9, 2014.</p><p><br></p><p>Roy Forsyth passed away peacefully with family by his side. Survived by his wife Veneta, his brother Ray (Chris), Rick (Joan) and sister Barbara (Frank). He is also survived by his children Shirley (Michael), Valerie and Alan, Pat (Yara), Mike (Sherri), Kathey (Wayne), Shelley and predeceased by his stepson Kerry.</p><p><br></p><p>He is also survived by his grandchildren Alex, Nikki (Drew), Joe, Connor, Cassandra (Adam), Diane (Donny), Robert (Tina), Danielle (Jessie), Trent, Carla and Amber; his great grandchildren: Myles, Chase, Austin and Nathan and his fur children: Maggie-dog, Tom, Mitten Kitten and Willow.</p><p><br></p><p>Roy will be greatly missed by the congregation of St. Paul’s Anglican Church where he worshiped for over 30 years and served as both a lay reader and member of the choir. Musically talented, Roy was also a member of the Brockville Community Choir and a past barbershop singer.</p><p><br></p><p>Roy moved to Graham Lake over 30 years ago where he learned to fish although he never learned to swim. He spent many happy hours both on and by the lake. A special thank you to the residents of Kerry Forest Drive for their ongoing support and friendship through the years, most especially during the last year. Thanks also to the care team.</p><p><br></p><p>Roy was a gentle, caring spirit with a smile and a kind word for all. He was beloved by all who met him and knew him. We are all better for sharing his life.</p><p><br></p><p>Family will receive friends at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 5-8 pm. A service in honour and celebration of Roy's life will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 12 Pine St., Brockville on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10 am followed by a reception. </p><p><br></p><p>As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre or St. Paul's Anglican Church would be gratefully acknowledged. Roy Forsyth passed away peacefully with family by his side. Survived by his wife Veneta, his brother Ray (Chris), Rick (Joan) and sister Barbara (Frank).
