Entered into rest on Thursday October 29, 2009. Ruth Tindal of Brockville, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of George W. Tindal. Survived by two caring sons, Richard Tindal (Susan) of Inverary and Douglas Tindal (Mardi) of Toronto. Also survived by six loving grandchildren Sue (Chris), Scott, Cindy, Kate, Chris (Claire), and Alex, and three great grandchildren Michael, Julie, and Emma. Ruth loved golf, curling, and cards (especially bridge) and was a very proud homemaker and cook. Family and friends may call at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Monday November 2. Visitation will take place from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the Chapel at 12:00 noon. A gathering will follow in the Irvine Reception Centre with interment at the Fairview Cemetery, Morrisburg later in the afternoon. The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care provided by the staff at the Wedgewood Retirement Resort, as well as the Red Cross staff who assisted in recent weeks. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing, the family would appreciate donations to the charity of your choice.
