Ruth Dwyer

At Brockville General Hospital on Sunday, May 8, 2011; the former Emma Ruth Joynt at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late James Edward Dwyer. Also predeceased by her son Edward and his wife Sheila. Dear mother of Donald (Grace) of Edmonton and Margaret Kirkby (James) of Prescott. Cherished grandmother of Heather Dwyer (Gilles Bisson) of Ottawa, James Dwyer (Debbie Easter) of Charleston Lake, and Kevin Dwyer of Edmonton; and great grandmother of Marc and Stephanie Bisson. Also survived by her sister-in-law Gertrude MacKenzie of Brockville and by nephews James, David and Steven MacKenzie. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, May 11th from 6-9 p.m. A ceremony to celebrate Ruth's life will be held in the Chapel Thursday, May 12th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the Irvine Reception Centre. Interment St. James Cemetery, Maitland. In remembrance, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
