<p>On Monday, September 3, 2012 at Brockville General Hospital; the former Ruth Alma Edwards at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by three husbands, Aubrey Box, Jack MacDonald and Kenneth King. Beloved mother of Glen Box (Betty), Gail Box Mullen (Bob), Grant Box and Gwen Salmon (Brian) and the late Gary Box. Also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Charles S. Edwards and Etta (Snowdon) Edwards, by brothers Howard and George Edwards and by a sister Vera. Ruth also leaves behind her faithful companion Lacy and good friends Dorothy and Keith Throop. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday, September 7th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. A private family service and interment will take place.
