Tanney, Ruth

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, on Sunday, August 11 2013. Ruth (Flanigan) Tanney, at the age of 102 years. Wife of the late Arthur Tanney and Mervyn Pearce. Survived by her daughter Valerie Campbell ( Art ) of Toledo. Also survived by thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Donald Pearce.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. A ceremony celebrating Ruth's life will be held on Thursday, August-15-2013 at 10:30 am at the Irvine Funeral Chapel, Brockville.Interment will follow at Capital Memorial Gardens, Ottawa. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Brockville Foundation Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society be gratefully acknowledged.
