Passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, November 8, 2018. Shashikala Mukund (Prabhakar Date) Godbole, at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of Mukund (Mike) Godbole; cherished mother of Sarita Godbole (Mike Schroeter) and dear grandmother of Emily.

She was predeceased by her parents Kalevati P. Date and Prabhakar M. Date; by a sister Devohuti (Asha) R. Damle and by a brother Vijay P. Date. Also, predeceased by sister-in-law Mrudula H. Kulkarni, Suman G. Godbole and Shubhada V. Godbole.

Survived by her brothers Arun P. and Ravi P. Date. As well brother-in-law Vasant G. Godbole, sister-in-law Hui V. Godbole, Tara J. Padhye, and Ajita A. Naravane. Also will be missed by several nieces, grand-nieces, nephews and grand-nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am with a ceremony celebrating Shashikala's life commencing at 11:30 am at the Chapel immediately followed by cremation.
