Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Shelagh Margaret (Taylor) Temple, at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late William Milton "Bud" Temple. Loving mother of Rae (Val) of Lethbridge, AB, Kevin (Maria) of Prescott, ON, Cathie Crukley (Adam Witoslawski) of London, ON, Bill (Liz) of Loveland, OH, and Rob (Lisa) of Johnstown, ON. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Brian, Mark, Jada, Denise, Cindy, Jennifer, Jeff, Neil, Travis, Ben, Jake, Zach and Katie as well as by her eight great grandchildren. Shelagh was predeceased by her brother Desmond Taylor of Manchester, England and she will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Sheila and their family, Kevin Taylor (Kai) and Ann Hartigan (Mark) also of Manchester, England. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Monday, July 23rd from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Members of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Women's League will gather for the Recitation of the Rosary Monday at 3pm p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Tuesday, July 24th at 10:00 a.m. Following cremation private interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday afternoon.
