Bonokoski-Gillis, Shirlee

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, on Friday, September 26th, 2014; Shirlee (Dunseith) Bonokoski-Gillis, at the age of 90 years. Wife of the late Matt Bonokoski and the late Harry Gillis. Dear mother of Mark Bonokoski (Karen), Eris Bonokoski-Hampson, Nayda Halverson (Barry) and Cara Reeves (Richard). Also survived by nine grandchildren Jason Stranges, Erin Bonokoski-Paulusse (Drew), Mollie Hickman (Matt), Christopher, Patrick and Claire Hampson, Rebecca, Melissa and Jessica Reeves. Dear sister of James Ashworth Reynolds (Betty). She was predeceased by her son Kurt and by sisters Colleen Booth, Lorraine Sterling and Rae-anne Reynolds.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 12 noon until 2 pm when ceremony celebrating Shirlee's life will be held in the Chapel. Nu Master Chapter Beta Sigma Phi will gather for a memorial tribute on Wednesday at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Service will be gratefully acknowledged.
