Passed away at home in Maynard on June 17, 2015 after a lengthy battle with cancer with many family and friends by her side. Shirley lived a long and wonderful life married to Wilson Cote for 22 years. She raised many children and was a mother to many who passed through her home, always lending a helping hand to those who needed her without putting herself first. Shirley was truly loved by many family and friends alike. She had many passions in life, especially camping where she had made many friends. She loved card playing, music, singing and bingos. Her outreached arm for the love of family was always there. She is survived by her loving partner Wilson Cote, sons Larry (Ruth), Joey (Susan), Donald (Penny), Neil, Willly and Tim (Christine); daughters Dreanna and Peggy (Danny); brother-in-law Wayne (Cindy); step daughters Wendy (James) and Laurie (Alan). Also survived by many grandchildren and step grandchildren. Predeceased by two sons, Moses and Clifford and one daughter Trinkess. She will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Special thanks to step daughter Wendy for her loving, devoted care. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
