Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Saturday, July 13, 2019. Simonne (Bellemore) Place, at the age of 70 years. Wife of the late Raymond Place and dear mother of Joseph (fiancée Amanda) and Bill Place. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Sean Gerald and Justin Mathew Joseph Place as well as by one great granddaughter Raelynn Marie Place. Survived by her siblings Ray, Moe and Danny Bellemore, Irene Donaldson and Bernadette Bailey. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a number of siblings and by her parents Maurice and Laura Bellemore.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St. E., Brockville on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 9:30 until 11 am when a celebration of Simonne's life will be held in the chapel at 11 am. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation for Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
