Sjoerd (Stuart) Grendel
On Friday, August 14, 2009 in hospital, Brockville at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of Jannie (nee Smallegange). Dear father of Margaret McCann ( Trevor), Peter Grendel (Beverley), David Grendel (Angel) and Richard Grendel (Christine). Sadly missed by five grandchildren. Dear brother of Feike Grendel (Susanna), Renske "Renny" and Bertelink (John). Predeceased by his parents Pieter and Grietje Grendel and by a brother Ruurd. A celebration of Stuart's life will be held in the Centennial Road Standard Church on Monday at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Centennial Road Standard Church, Brockville and District Palliative Care or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged. Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East Brockville.Obituary
