Burbridge, Theodore (Ted)

On Thursday, 11th October, 2018, Ted (Theodore) Gary Burbridge won his courageous battle against cancer and the grave - and received the everlasting prize at the age of 63. Now he stands face to face with his Saviour, Jesus Christ. Survived and deeply missed by his dedicated wife, Dianne. Father to Amanda Barber (Peter) and Kathleen Burbridge (James Upchurch); and grandfather to Abigail, Simeon, Taliah and Emeth. Beloved brother of Bonnie Markell Collicott (Neil), Gary Burbridge (Kim), and Roy Burbridge (Candi Lefebver); and brother-in-law of Judy Burbridge (Brian predeceased), Bruce Ferguson (Terry predeceased), Penny Matheson and David Matheson (Teri). Ted will be sorely missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ted had a heart full of thanks for his close friends (especially the Coffee Gang), gained over the years, both through his church membership and fruitful career of 33 years in the RCMP, as he was forever grateful for the important role they played in his life and wanted them to know that.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Ted’s life at the Centennial Road Church, 3545 Country Road 27, RR #2, Lyn, Ontario on Thursday 18th October at 2pm with a reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or a charity of your choice would kindly be appreciated by the family. We extend a special heart felt thank you to Dr. Hammad, staff, nurses and volunteers at Brockville General Hospital, South East Local Health Integration and Brockville Palliative Care for their dedicated care and support.
