Entered into rest at the Wedgewood Retirement Resort on February 1, 2009 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Victor J. Hayes, who predeceased her in 2007. Dear mother of Janet Murray (Thomas) and Susan Oxford (Stewart). Dear grandmother of Graham and Jordan Oxford (Erin). Also survived by great granddaughters Ryann Marie and Izabelle. Predeceased by brothers Harry ,Alfred and Wesley Baker, and by a sister Alice Davison. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East Brockville on Saturday February 7th from 10.30 am until 12 noon when a celebration of Thelma's life will be held in the Chapel. Cremation was held at Roselawn Crematorium, Maitland. In memoriams to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Cardiac Care Rehab Unit or Palliative Care Unit will be gratefully appreciated.
