Thomas Henry Saunders

Peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Friday, December 4, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Husband of the late Sharon (Badour) Saunders. Father of David Saunders (Rose Marie) and grandfather of David and Rene. Dear brother-in-law to Shelvy Orr (the late Clifford) of Smiths Falls, Dianna Finnerty (Ken) of Kemptville, Arnold Badour (Dianne), Garnet Badour (Linda) all of Smiths Falls, Debbie (Roly Raymond) of Renfrew and Janice (David Moulton) of Smiths Falls. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Violet Saunders, his brothers George, Ron and Reg Saunders and his father and mother-in-law Gerald and Winifred Badour. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville on Wednesday from 12 -2 pm with the Sussex Masonic Lodge # 5 GRC memorial tribute at 1 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Br. 96 will hold a memorial tribute at 2 pm immediately followed by a celebration of Tom's life in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Legion Poppy Fund would be gratefully acknowledged.
