Went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. He passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Lammechina (Gini) and cherished father of Emmy (Roger) Hart, Gerald (France) Kamphuis and Annemarie (Mark) Bissonnette. Loving grandfather of Tiffany and Colin Bissonnette, Mieka, Nil and Damien Kamphuis and great grandfather of Vanguard Tilles Kamphuis and Anastasia Kamphuis. Dear brother of Gerhard Kamphuis of the Netherlands. He was predeceased by parents Albertje and Gerrit Kamphuis and by his sister Greta VandenBelt.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Tuesday, April 5th, 2016 from 5-8 pm. A ceremony celebrating Tilles` life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, April 6th, 2016 at 11 am followed by a reception. Cremation and interment to take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.
