Entered into rest peacefully at the Carveth Care Centre, Gananoque on Monday, November 20, 2017. Verna Vada (MacDonald) Donnelly, at the age of 97 years. Verna was born in Rockport and was the daughter of the late Verny and Helena (nee Slate) MacDonald. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Donnelly in 1991, by her siblings Jack, George, Alfred and Roberta MacDonald and by her stepmother Agnes MacDonald. She leaves behind a sister Patricia and her husband Arnold Warren, a brother-in-law Doug Donnelly and his wife Jean, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, November 23rd from 12:30 until 1:30 pm when a celebration of Verna's life will be held in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Cataraqui Cemetery, Kingston. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Carveth Care Centre will be gratefully acknowledged.
