Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital Garden Street Site on December 7, 2012. Vida Jane (Shire) Herbison, at the age of 80 years. Dear mother of Carol White (Gerald), Sheila Jenkins (James), Wayne (Nancy), and Fred Herbison. Also survived by nine grandchildren several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jean Turner (Bill), Hazel Shire, George Shire, Donald Shire (June), David Shire (Carolyn), and Paul Shire. Predeceased by her daughter Sandra Massey and by her son Owen, as well as sisters Helen Guilbeault, Alice Rice, and a brother Borden Shire. A ceremony celebrating Vida's life will be held in St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Caintown at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 with interment following at Mallorytown Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville.
