World War II Veteran - 5th Anti Tank Regiment At Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care on Saturday, May 7th, 2011 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Noreen (Fitzgerald) Moore. Loving father of Carol Anne Brandow and her husband Tom of Brockville and predeceased by his sons Patrick Moore and David in infancy. Cherished Pop to Brent (Donna), Sean (Sonia) and Danny Timmins (Christa), Travis Inman and Julie Brandow Walsh. Also lovingly remembered "Poppy CooCoo" to his great grandchildren Brent, Hailey, Dorian, Lucas, Aidan, Mason, Morgann and Marissa. Dear brother of Effie Sias, Colleen Green (Dennis) and Theresa Abrams (George). Also survived by two aunts, Marjorie and Louise Moore and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Joan Wood and Marion Moore, and by his brother Kenneth Moore. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St. E., Brockville Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are requested to gather for a Veteran's Service of Remembrance, Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In remembrance, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund or Brockville and District Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
