At the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the age of 59 years. Beloved husband of Arlene (Helmer) Atkinson and cherished father of Emily (Richie Stinson) and Derek Atkinson. Dear Papa to Cameron, Riley and Olivia. Loving brother of Donald Atkinson (Gail) and Gerald Atkinson (Edna) and brother-in-law to Virgina Redden, Gary Helmer (Marilyn), Warren Helmer and Wendy Whelton (Alan). Also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Freda (Barber) Atkinson.
