Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the age of 62 years. Loving son of Mavis (Atkins) Durant and the late Gordon Wesley Durant. Beloved husband of Anne (McCurdy) Durant and cherished father of Gordon Durant (Shannin) and John Durant (Stephanie). Dear grandfather of Dominic, Rianne and Garin. Brother of Judy Durant, Cheryl Durant, Susan Watson (Dwight), Dawn Kirkham (Chris) and Sandy Harper and step brother to Jeff, John and Shari. Brother-in-law Joe (Marie) White, Faye Couch, Elaine (Nick) Healey and Peter (Josephine) McCurdy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville on Wednesday, from 7-9 pm. A private family service in celebration of Wes' life will be held. Cremation and interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.
