Entered into rest at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, Kingston on Monday, August 19, 2019. William Clarence Hewitt, at the age of 74 years. Dear father of Clare Hewitt (Lynn), Shawn Hewitt (Kim), William Duhamel, Gary Hewitt and Kaitlyn Hewitt (Kevin). Brother of Gary Foster Hewitt and Carol Ann O'Meara. Also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Irene Mae Pullan Hewitt.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 12 noon until 2 pm. A celebration of Bill's life will be held in the chapel at 2 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Canada will be gratefully acknowledged.
