Entered into rest peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street SIte, on Sunday, November 14, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer, in his 86th year. Loving husband of Eleanor Ruth (Blachford) for 59 years. Ever remembered by children Jane (Clayton) Palmateer of Belleville; Warren (Lisa) Fasken of Whitby and Graham (Nancy) Fasken of Kanata. Cherished Grandpa to Richard Palmateer, Mark and Christopher Fasken, and Melissa and Branden Fasken. Predeceased by granddaughter Mikayla Fasken. He is survived by sisters Margaret "Peggy" (Andrew) Ker on Manotick and Marion Morris of Moose Jaw, Sask. Affectionately know as "Uncle Bill" to many nieces and nephews. Bill spent most of his years as a Forester working for the Ministry of Natural Resources in Tweed and Brockville, Ontario.

Cremation will take place under the direction of the Irvine Funeral Home, Brockville with a private family service and burial at Park Lawn Cemetery, Toronto at later date. As expression of sympathy donations can be made to the Brockville General Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care.
