<p>Entered into rest suddenly at his residence in Lyn on Sunday, July 2, 2017. Ainsley Given McGee, at the age of 81 years. Husband of the late Mary Louise (nee Meneray) and Vada Davidson (nee Massey). Survived by his children Tammie McGee (Richard Newburn), Matthew McGee (Georgette Young) and Terrie Cirne (Stuart Cirne). Also survived by his grandchildren Brendan Warren (Anna Reibring), Caeleigh Harding (Tyler Harding), Alyssa Cirne (Michael McCabe), Christopher Cirne and Benjamin Cirne (Danika Cloutier) and great grandchild Chloe Harding. Will be missed by his step children Debra Boasley (Cliff Boasley), Beth Davidson, Tara Baird, Terri Baird and Brooks Baird (Shannon Baird) and step grandchildren Tony Stafford (Erica Barton), Michelle Stafford (Kirk Jacques), Michael Stafford Jr. (Jody), Adrienne Campbell (Jason), John Buker (Kristina), Alex Saunders, Brooklyn Saunders, Ryan Bullard, Brianna Vanderkloet, Dax Baird, Kadence Baird and Chloe Saunders. Remembered by his step great grandchildren William Mundell, Miranda Mundell, Jason Campbell, Emily Stafford, Tristan Payne, Tea Stafford, Jasmine Payne, Isaac Stafford, Noah Buker and Nickolas Buker and step great great grandchild Xavier Mundell Wattie. He was predeceased by his parents Theresa and Ainsley McGee and by one sister Ellen Jane McGee.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Friday, July 7th from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm. A ceremony celebrating Ainsley's life will be held on Saturday, July 8th at 11:00 am at Christ United Church, Lyn. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Christ United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged. Officers and members of Lyn Masonic Lodge No. 416 will gather for a memorial service on Friday at 5:45 pm.
