Jean Bliss Marr
<p>Jean Bliss Marr (nee Gillon) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday January 29th, 2017, at the age of 87. Jean was a well known potter and sculptor for over 50 years. She was also known for her perennial garden and vast collection of Hostas. Jean loved horses and for decades she trekked on horseback through Iceland, Wales and locally in Brockville. She is survived by her children Michael Marr (Jennifer Clark), Janet Marr (Rob Weeks), Kevin Marr (Huguette), and Robert Marr (Sheila). Jean's vibrant and youthful personality and her exuberant sense of adventure will be dearly missed by her nine grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as Gran. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Marr.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Reception Centre, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday February 3, 2017 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm, with family tributes being shared at 3:00pm.
