Olga Ferguson
<p>It is with profound sadness that we must announce the passing of Olga (Berkhout) Ferguson, at the age of 85 years, on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Dear wife of John Ferguson and forever giving mother to Jennifer Barbara Martinez and grandmother to John Allen Martinez. Beloved sister of Ruud Berkhout. She was predeceased by her twin sister Elly, sister Bertha, and brother Robb. Also predeceased by her parents Alfons and Francina (Tapking) Berkhout.</p><p><br></p><p>Olga's nursing career started in her native Holland and, after coming to Canada on June 29, 1960, continued at Brockville General Hospital for ten years, and later in Ottawa with the VON. Olga was given awesome credit, among her coworkers, for her work ethic and sense of humour over the years.</p><p><br></p><p>Absolute integrity and kindheartedness followed Olga throughout life within her personal and professional relationships, without compromise and this meant everything to my beloved wife.</p><p><br></p><p>Private arrangements entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville, ON.</p>Obituary
