Entered into rest peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Thursday, June 7, 2018. Raffaele Farella at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Anna and dear father of Maria (Bill) Shipman, Joe (Claire) Farella and Catherine (Rob) Ashton.. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Ryan (Mima) and Casey Shipman, Christopher Stewart (Rita), Jamie and Dylan Ashton and Joanna Farella as well as two great grandchildren. Brother of Frank, Domenic, Nick, Larry Farella and Anna Forese. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Domenica Farella and by his siblings Rocco Farella and Contanze Sacchetti.

Private arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland. As per Raffaele's wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Interment will be in the Tower Columbarium at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation; Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
