Peacefully with loved ones by her side at Stedman-Hankinson House on Saturday January 18, 2020. Eleanor Ritchie (nee Brooks) of Mount Vernon in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Lorne for 49 years. Dearly loved mom of Mark (Nicole), Kevin (Marlo), Lesley (Bob), and step mother to Robbie and Tracey. Cherished grandma of Taylor, Maggie, Sawyer, Addison, Tate, Chrissy, Lindsay, and Justin. Survived by her sister and best friend Bonnie Hewitson and brother John Brooks. Predeceased by her parents Mark and Hazel Brooks, and five brothers. Eleanor will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Eleanor’s Life will take place at the Odd Fellow Hall, 39 Johnson Road, Brantford, Ontario on February 2, 2020 from 1 to 4 pm.
