Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home on Tuesday January 14, 2020. Gary Cain, of Bethel, in his 75th year. Beloved Husband of Sue (nee Woods) for 49 years. Loving Father of Shirley (Donald) Caron, Brent (Angie) and Brian. Cherished Papa of Holden, Charlie, Sydney, Brooke, Spencer, and Ashley. Dear Brother of Pat (John) Brittain, Susan (Mackie) Robertson, Randy (Carol) Cain, Judy (Steve) Gardner. Gary will be sadly missed by; his Brothers-in-law Jack, Bill, and Dave, Sister-in-law Colleen and families. Predeceased by his Brothers-in-law; George, Ed, Gary and Sister-in-law Dorothy. Gary was a proud dairy farmer and partner of Rovelon Farm and involved with many organizations highlighted by: the Brant County Milk Producers, Past President of Ontario Holstein, Volunteer Firefighter, Director of Ayr Farmers Mutual Insurance, Committee of Adjustment – Brantford Township and a Trustee of Bethel Stone United Church. Friends & family will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday January 17, 2020 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Bethel Stone Church Community Hall, 154 Bethel Road, Paris followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Gary’s memory may be made to the Brant Cancer Clinic (BGH) or a charity of your choice.
