DOLL, Barbara Catherine (nee Gomes) Peacefully finished her valiant walk on this earth Thursday, February 23, 2017 in her 88th year. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Terrence Doll and her son Les Doll. Daughter of the late John Gomes and Josephine Phillbert, she will be lovingly remembered as a woman of strong faith, believing in the saving power and strength of Christ Jesus’ love and the beauty and peace that would await her. She was devoted to her family and will be missed, but lovingly remembered, by sons Jonathan (Ingrid), David, Gregory (Jackie) and daughter Chyril (Brent); and grandchildren and great grandchildren Nathan (Oliver), Jereme and Kelly (Madison, Wyatt), Curtis and Sophia (Isabella, Curtis Jr., Lincoln) Eric and Nicole, Andrew and Gloriella (Kally, Michael), Casandra and Kaykce (Shylah, Aaliyah) and Shannon. She will be always remembered and now sadly missed by her sister Claudette Johnstone and brothers Ronald Gomes and Oscar Gomes. Barbara was predeceased by brother Conrad. Friends and relatives will be received at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Friday, March 3rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Hespeler Baptist Church, 76 Adam Street, Cambridge, on Saturday, March 4th at 11:00am. Interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge.
