LISSO, Ellen Caroline (Clarke Campbell) Suddenly on April 28, 2017 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in her 90th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Clarence in 1994, birth parents Benjamin and Catherine Clarke, adoptive parents Lachlen and Isabel Campbell, brother John and sisters Myra, Eleanor, Ruth and Dorothy. Survived by her daughters Shirley Turner (Lary) and Carolyn Hockin (the late Kenneth), grandchildren Stacy Turner Schmalz (Jeff), Charlene Elkington (Lee), Shelley Parker (Mark Parrott), Joshua Turner (Kyla) and Angela Hockin (Sean McKnight), great grandchildren; Logan, Alden and Colin Elkington; Madison, Kennedy, Harper and Kambel Schmalz; Matthew, Devin and Tristen Parker; Jesse and Shamus Sager and one great great grandchild Kynsleigh Sager and her brother George Campbell (Dorothy). Ellen was born at Vanguard, Sask. and moved to Ontario at seven years of age. She was a proud member of the Hespeler Legion Br. #272 Ladies Auxiliary for 39 years, the Hespeler Beehive Crafters for 18 years, former employee of the Galt Reporter (Hespeler) and the Artex Woollens Outlet Store. At Ellen’s request cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ellen’s life will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Monday May 15th, visitation at 10am, Hespeler Ladies Auxiliary Service at 10:30am and memorial service at 11am. Internment at New Hope Cemetery to follow. Family and friends are invited back to the Hespeler Legion Jacob Hespeler Hall, 26 Schofield St. for fellowship. In lieu of flowers a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
