NOSEWORTHY, Robert (Bob) Melvin Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital after battling a long and courageous fight with Cancer. Surrounding him with love and strength until the very end are his amazing sons Rob (Susan) and Shaun (Tanya), cherished grandchildren Brianna, Austin, Kean and Jadyn and beautiful great-grandson Charlie who always gave Papa the best hugs and kisses. Bob will also be deeply missed by his second family and best friend of over 30 years Derick Butler and wife Jean and their families, who loved and took care of him until he could no longer stay at home. Bob will be especially missed by his furry companion Kia the family dog who loved him unconditionally and never left his side. Bob is survived by his brothers and sisters in Bell Island Newfoundland and many nieces, nephews and close friends. A special heartfelt thank you to all of the doctors and nurses at CMH Medical Day Clinic especially Dr. Brian Healy, as well as the Third Floor Oncology Team of Doctors and Nurses, CCAC and the ParaMed Home Care Team. As per Bob's wishes there will not be a funeral or viewing. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers the family asks to please make a donation to CMH Medical Day Clinic or the Canadian Cancer Society.
