Loranna Vahi

Loranna Vosu Vahi (nee Diels) 11 September 1920 in Tartu, Estonia -18 October 2017 in Collingwood, ON Mom gently left us after a remarkable life. She leaves behind so many who loved and respected her generous heart, her kindness and her great wisdom. Predeceased by her first husband Viktor Vosu, father of their children, Reet Vosu McGovern Shearer (Jeffrey) and Tonu Vosu (Daniella). Also predeceased by her husband Endel Vahi, after 50 years of marriage during which time they rebuilt the losses they faced after the Second World War. Gramamma was precious to her four grandsons: Michael Quinn McGovern (Zoe), Matthew McGovern (Lisa), Geremy Vosu Dingle (Jacky) and Trevor Vosu. She was cherished by her great-grandchildren: Kate, Tess, Meredith and Grant McGovern in Bangkok; Jesse Jago McGovern in London UK; Calum and Holden Diels Dingle in Los Angeles. Our mother died at Sunset Manor in Collingwood, having left her lovely home on Donlea Drive in Leaside. She will be interred at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in the presence of her family.
