POIRIER, Norman – peacefully surrounded by his loving and caring wife and all his family and friends at Cornwall Hospice on Friday, February 24, 2012 after a courageous 10 year battle against cancer. Norman Poirier of Cornwall; age 61. Beloved husband of Carole Poirier (Deschamps) of Cornwall. Dear father of Alain (Jill) of Prince Edward Island, and Josée Poirier (Tony Boisclair) of Cornwall. Cherished pepère of Liam and Emma. Survived by his mother Aurore Castonguay of ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬Cornwall and mother in law Lucille Deschamps. Predeceased by his father the late Edouard Poirier and his father in law the late Roma Deschamps. Beloved brother of Raymond (Laurel) Poirier of Cornwall, Genine Poirier of Montreal QC., Suzanne Gignac (Fernand) of Brossard QC. and Claudette Beaudry (Gilles) of Cornwall.
