It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Jane Miller (Hunt) of Lake Dore on Saturday, July 18, 2020 after a long illness at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late James H. Miller. Loving mother to Derek (Sheri) and grandmother of Myra. Mary is survived by her sister-in-law Ruth (late Gary Hunt), and was predeceased by her siblings Shirley, Sterling, Gary and Jackie. Mary spent her life in the Lake Dore and Eganville area. She started teaching at the Donegal school house when she was 16, and retired from the Eganvile and District Public School in 1995. Special thanks to Water Tower Lodge, Barry’s Bay and Marianhill, Pembroke and staff who looked after Mary during her illness. A family service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in the Melville United Cemetery at 11am.
