KLEIN-GUNNEWIEK; ALFIE It is with very heavy hearts that we announce that Alfie has passed surrounded by his family on Monday April 8, 2019. He had a beautiful daughter, Jessica, who he had the greatest honour of walking down the aisle to Arkadiusz. He leaves behind, Lisa Gallagher and was a wonderful step father to her children; Victoria (Steven) Sly and Brandan Freeman. Doating Opa to Eva and Johnathan Sly. He was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Harriet. He leaves behind his sister Marianne (Chris Jackson), brother Paul (Kim) and sister Barb (Mike) Murtagh, step nephew Alex, nieces Cori and Kayla and nephew Michael. He will be forever remembered for his positive attitude, determination, and uplifting spirit. Cremation has taken place at Gananoque Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elgin Lions Club Hall, 19 Pineview Dr., Elgin on Sunday April 14, 2019 from 2 - 4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
