FUNERAL NOTICE DAWSON : E. IRENE Peacefully at Carveth Care Centre, Gananoque on Thursday June 20, 2019. Irene Langridge, formerly of R.R. # 1, Lyndhurst, in her 101st year. Widow of Albert Dawson. Loving mother of Marilyn (Robert) Jeffs of Lansdowne and Donna Mallette of Lyn. Predeceased by daughter Alberta Tye and sons-in-law, Bucky Tye and Dale Mallette as well as sisters, Vida Chapman and Vera Serson and brothers; Kenneth, Fred and Percy Langridge. Fondly remembered by grandchildren; Randy Tye, Vanessa Tye (Derek Latimer), Robert (Johanna) Mallette and Rhonda (Steve) Hunt as well as 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by granddaughter; Heather Auger. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Tuesday from 1-4 p.m. Funeral Service in Our Chapel on Wednesday at 2 o'clock.
