Donna Marie Scott It is with profound sadness that the family of Donna Marie Scott, 69 of Fort Frances, Ontario announce her sudden passing on February 27, 2019 at the La Verendrye Hospital. Donna was born on March 24, 1949 in Emo, Ontario to parents Crem and Hazel Seed. She was untied in marriage to the love of her life Ryan Scott on October 20, 1967. Donna was employed in the food industry holding positions in numerous local establishments, she spent many years as a dedicated stay at home mother and homemaker. She began a career that she was very passionate about at Rainy Crest Home for the Aged in the kitchen, later completing her health care aid certification and retired in 2009 as a health care aid. She enjoyed crafting, quilting, sewing, and many other small projects. She enjoyed gardening and canning with her husband, and more than anything spending quality time with her grandchildren. Donna will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ryan; her daughter Brenda, son Carl(Krista), and grandchildren Ryann, Maren and their mother Kim, and Gareth, Lilith and their mother Sharon. Donna is also survived by siblings Edith Irvine, Lou (Ross) Brookes, Allen (Julle) Seed, Chris Ferguson, Berry Hill, (Geoff) Taylor, Bev Poton, Garnet (Kim), Robson, Fran (Bob) Mackenzie, Sandra Robson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Arlan, her parents Crem and Hazel Seed, in laws Gordon and Myrtle Scott, her sisters Sara Robson and Nancy Taylor. A service of celebration and remembrance will be held on Wednesday March 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Northridge Funeral Home, Emo, Ontario with Pastor Jane Trivers officiating.
