Floyd Ernest Georgeson, beloved husband and father of Devlin, Ontario went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on August 4, 2014. He passed away after a short battle with cancer. Born October 23, 1941 in Emo, Ontario to Ernest and Madeleine Georgeson. He grew up on the Georgeson family farm that was homesteaded by his grandparents. He is survived by his siblings Constance Sinclair, Joe (Shari) Georgeson, Janet (Kent) Johnson, and Dan Georgeson. Floyd married Joyce Pattimore on May 4, 1968 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They treasured the 46 years of walking hand in hand through his life. He will be greatly missed by his sons Ernest (Darla) Georgeson Amy, Victoria; and Jeff (Betty-Anne) Georgeson, Ashley and Aria, Eric, Thomas; and by his daughters Rebecca Georgeson and Chelsey Smith as well as numerous nieces and nephews. They also opened their home to numerous foster children over the years. Floyd was known for his love for Jesus, his tender heart, his passion for his family, and his great work ethic. Memorial service to be held August 8, 2014 at the Christian Reform Church in Emo, Ontario at 2:00 pm.
