Harry Joseph Arnould
On Monday January 28, 2019 at the Rainy River Hospital, Harry Arnould 90 of Rainy River passed away peacefully. Harry was born in Rainy River on July 29, 1928.
Harry enlisted with the Canadian Armed Forces on January of 1952 and served overseas in the Korean war with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry 3rd Battalion. Harry was united in marriage to Virginia Hanson and together they resided in Rainy River raising their family.
He returned home in 1953 at wars end and was discharged from service in January 1955. Harry went to work for CN Railway, retiring in 1984.
Harry will be lovingly remembered by his children Barb (Bruce) Livingston of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Bill Arnould of Rainy River, Roger "Peanut" (Helen) Arnould of Morson, Vicky (Terry) Lutz of Oostburg, Wisconsin , Shirlee Arnould of Belize, and his 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Harry is also survived by his half brothers Ed (Susan) St. Pierre, Ernie (Mary Ellen) St. Pierre and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Virginia, his mother Maria Arnould and brother Frank St. Pierre, inlaws Gertrude Boe and Roger Hanson.
As per Harry's wishes a grave side service will be held at a later date to be announced in the spring.
