Thelma Alberta Lindsell Obituary

Peacefully passed away at her home in Fort Frances on December 1, 2012 at the age of 88. Survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Melvin, and three children: Victoria Calder (Stanley) of Fort Frances, ON, Dale Lindsell (Debbie) of Thunder Bay, ON. and Karen Chow (Marshall) of Blind River, ON. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Aaron Calder, Courtney Calder, Leslie Lindsell, Coral McCaul, Curtis Chow, Ovina Chow, Patricia (Mike) Copetti and Joey Hultman. Also survived by six great-grandchildren. Also survived by siblings, Lucille Krishka (John) and Les Cain (Lorraine), and sisters-in-law Barbara Cain and Bernice Cain, and will be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Thelma was predeceased by brothers Lyle Cain and Melvin Cain. Thelma will be missed by many friends and family, but will be forever remembered through her love of artwork and time spent at the lake. The Lindsell Family would like to thank Dr. Shack and the health care staff at LaVerendrye Hospital in Fort Frances for their care during this time. In lieu of a formal service, a celebration of Thelma’s life will be held at a later date.
